About
A well-known Minnesotan was known for saying, "We all do better when we all do better." This is one of my driving philosophies.
Making a business or project successful requires the right combination of head and heart. The team needs passion and a clear sense of purpose to keep them motivated and focused on the right priorities - that's the heart. But the head makes it all happen.
I've always been driven to understand why things are the way they are, what's below the surface of what we see, and how we can use that knowledge to make our world better. My favorite clients are the ones who want to see the world not just as it is (an important first step, to be sure) but also as it could be.
To that end, I spent four years as a foreign affairs analyst in Washington, DC and abroad. Although I was passionate about serving in this way, I wanted to be more active in my community and found that those skills translated well to marketing. I've worked with large and small organizations across the country in healthcare, technology, education, financial services, nonprofit service, and sustainable agriculture and food production.
I hold an MBA from the University of Washington, a BA in Political Science from Coe College, and I'm a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In my free time, you'll find me doing yoga, hiking, biking, playing (and probably losing at) fantasy football, and watching the Minnesota Lynx.
